Product Information

Pulsar’s pocket-sized thermal monocular family—the Axions—have another member – the Axion 2 LRF XG35! With a powerful 640x480 microbolometer that detects heat signatures over 1900 yards away, this is an excellent device for scoping large areas and locating prey. With an included 1100-yard laser rangefinder, this device gives shooters an accurate approximation of their target’s distance. It then transmits these images and information to a pristine 1024x768 AMOLED display, giving the user clear, crisp image of their target.

With 2.5-20x magnification along with built-in photo and video recording, Wi-Fi connectivity and a 16GB memory card, the Axion 2 LRF XG35 is a technological wonder. The Axion 2 is also supported by the Stream Vision 2 app, enabling shooters to record and preserve all their precious shooting memories.

Weighing a mere 0.6lbs, the Axion 2 LRF XG35 is made of a high-quality reinforced magnesium alloy that boasts IPX7 protection and operates in temperatures between -13F to 122F. Utilizing a Pulsar APS5 Li-ion battery, the Axion 2 LRF XG35 operates for up to 7 hours.

axion2 LRF XG

The unit is good for the price and size. I can easily identify coyotes and hogs at 300-plus yards in warm humid weather. It easily fits in your hand or in a coat pocket. As always Jason and his crew are second to none. Very helpful and always willing to answer your questions.

The clarity is so good.

This unit is far superior to my Pulsar Axion XM30 as far as clarity at base magnification. I can see mice in my apple trees at 75 to 100 yards.
Hans directed me away from another unit that he felt was just not as good.
This unit will fit in nicely with my other Pulsar products. The range finder is an added plus for when I'm not using my Trail 2 LRF.
It will be interesting to see how the unit and battery hold up to the sub zero weather I hunt in the winter

Cool Little Unit

I talked to Jason for a while about this purchase decision. I really wanted a handheld scanner with LRF. Bow hunting, ranging in fields without having to use my scopes and to game plan my stalk. One scope didn’t have LRF so this unit was important to me. Used it for the first time last weekend. It was pretty humid out and at 100 yards the picture was pretty good. I like the size of it and the quality of the unit is obvious in the way it feels. I almost went with the Helion XP 50 pro for the picture quality but the LRF won out. I plan on using it more in the next few weeks and will be updating this info. Thanks to Jason for listening to my own pros and cons. His review of this unit was spot on.
