The Asp-Micro TM160 is a tiny handheld thermal monocular that is equipped with a 160×120 thermal sensor and a 720×540 LCOS display. This palm sized monocular is by far the best thermal optic we've ever seen in this price range. While it doesn't replace the more expensive, higher resolution monoculars, it does provide a very usable thermal image at an unbeatable price.

I had hoped it would be better at picking up the heat source. If you want something more than looking in your yard this not for you.

You get what you pay for!

I have used this unit for hog hunts identifying/shooting 200 yards and under. I have seen it not pick up cows at 250yards but no problem picking up a rabbit at 100 yards, odd. If you know how an animal moves it’s easy to identify a hundred yards out but if you need to rely on this optic to identify and animal past 40 yards this is not for you.
For the price point and performance it’s a good deal but keep your expectations in check.
