I watch a ton of The Late Night Vision podcast that the guys at Outdoor Legacy put on youtube and decided to give them a call to get their opinion on a couple thermals I was looking at purchasing (first time thermal buyer). I talked to Hans directly and he was super helpful and directed me to the Rix Storm S3 and I’m glad he did, the S3 is great for what I use it for and I couldn’t be more happy with it. The customer service is second to none, this is the only place I’ll be ordering thermals/night vision optics from. It’s also great to support a local Texas company!

I own several thermal devices from 4 different companies. What I want to emphasize here is that none of the other scopes deliver performance for the money this scope offers. The menu is a bit different but quickly manageable. The image quality is all I’d ever need out to 250 yards.
