Description

The RICO 2 S75R is Nocpix’s top‑tier long‑range thermal riflescope, made for hunters and precision shooters who demand nothing less than maximum 1280 resolution clarity, range, and comfort. With a 2nd second‑generation 1280×1024, 12 µm sensor running at 60 Hz and a ≤15 mK NETD rating, this scope delivers ultra crisp imaging, even in challenging conditions. A 75 mm F/1.0 objective lens, 3× optical base magnification with a stepless digital zoom to 30x, built‑in laser rangefinder, and advanced ballistic calculation make this tool built for extreme engagement distances (detection range up to 4,260 yards). Eye pleasing features like a distortion‑free eyepiece, 70 mm eye relief, and vivid OLED display round out a scope meant for comfort during long sits and long shots.

The RICO2 S75R is for those who push the limits of thermal hunting optics, seeking extreme detection range and pinpoint precision, without sacrificing comfort or ergonomics. If you want your thermal scope to perform like a long‑range sniper’s tool and still feel natural over hours in the field, the S75R is built for you.

Rico 2 S75R

Most importantly, this scope is simply amazing and the staff at Outdoor Legacy is great to work with. Battery life is little short, but they give you two batteries and they are super easy to swap out. If you are running this on a bolt rifle with a standard length of pull, in order to appreciate the full glory of the display, you will need to order the RICO 2 Extended Offset QD Mount from Nocpix. This shouldn't be an issue for stocks with less than normal length of pull or gas guns. The button layout, zoom lever, and focus **** are all easy to learn and laid out in a way that just plain works well. I was able to easily identify and range deer at 840 yards as well as range field edges at 1090 yards.

Can’t go wrong with Outdoor Legacy

I had a minor issue with a smudge around the inside of ocular lens of the optic, which necessitated sending it in. They promptly addressed the problem within a couple of days. The scope itself is exceptional, undoubtedly top-notch. While there was an issue with the optic, it’s important to remember that we all make mistakes. Ultimately, this was just a single instance, and the problem was resolved swiftly. The S75R is undoubtedly a top-tier product, and I would gladly purchase it again. I genuinely appreciate the outstanding customer service provided by Outdoor Legacy; they truly stand out as the best I’ve delt with in the industry.

Shipped with wrong screws

Came with wrong screws
This tough. I absolutely love the scope. It’s everything. Outdoor legacy is a great buying experience too. However it came with the wrong screws to mount to the mount to the scope. The screws were too long. Of course this was this was a Friday evening and had to wait until Monday to hear back from an email to Nocpix sent right away that my scope wouldn’t mount securely. I got a reply with like two sentences. “What’s your shipping address? I will send you new screws.” That’s it. I found that to be not too personable or great response when you spend this much money. No explanation or apology or anything. Just tightening them I wasn’t sure they were too long. So I called and someone answered and said that some of these scopes shipped with screws that are too long. So, they wouldn’t put rush shipping or give me a tracking number. I thought doing neither of those things was kinda poor given the price of the optic. I waited a couple hours. Got impatient and took the screws to the belt sander, sanded a few threads off each **** and mounted the scope Monday night and shot it in on Wednesday. No tracking no delivery nothing saying the other screws shipped out yet, (although they said they were shipping them right away.) anyway I started taking it hunting before the new screws ended up arriving Friday. So if I had to review nocpix I’d say 3 stars.
If this review is of just the scope, I’d say 5 stars. The zoom is amazing and without zoom just using picture in pictures zoomed to 6 I could easily identify a rabbit at 436 yards once it moved. Picture is amazing. You do have to focus it a lot. Like compared to a pulsar thermion 640res 3x base mag that I have. It seems like if you focus that scope on a deer at 100 yards it seemed to not matter when it walked to 50 yards but the picture may need a bit of focusing on this scope. No big deal it’s super easy to use. Picture and zoom and identification range is off the charts. I love it. It’s amazing. If I review the scope it’s 5 stars. I just didn’t know how to do this review based on the screwed up screws. And in my mind not too much effort to make the customer happy in resolving the issue. Although they must have shipped them out right away like they said standard ground because they arrived Friday. One week from the day I got it I would have had to wait if I wouldn’t have shortened the screws myself.
