The ACE is built around the idea of combining leading user-requested features in a streamlined optic that balances advanced capability with ease-of-use in the field. Designed to feel like a traditional day optic, the ACE is compatible with bolt action or semi-automatic rifles using standard 30 mm mounts and rings.
The Ace H50 acts iRay USA's replacement for the extremely popular but now discontinued Infiray Outdoor Bolt TH50-C V2. The Ace H50 is an improved scope from the TH50 and is impressive in every way.
The combination of an internal USB-C charging battery and a removable 18650 style rechargeable battery allows users to hot-swap batteries in the field to run indefinitely. A 1-3x ocular magnifier provides optical magnification of the 2560x2560 round AMOLED display inside the eyepiece. The Vision+ system pairs this high resolution display with a 15 mK NETD sensor for an incredibly detailed and precise image.
After talking with Jason off and on since before shot show, I finally purchased this scope a few weeks ago. The scope has met every expectation and preformed flawlessly. It shipped in 2 days, was very easy to mount and sight in, and got to kill some coyotes the next weekend. I have always used PIP in my AGM rattler 35-384 and on this scope the ocular zoom is so nice I don’t turn it on. Also RAV is big plus cause stuff happens so fast I never remembered to hit button before. Scope had adequate eye relief on my Ruger gen 2 .243 and I could identify deer at over 600 yards on powerline. Better quality sensor also helped have more precise point of aim when sighting in.
This is my first thermal scope i have owned. I have looked through different pulsar scopes in the 640, and 320 resolution. That is the only other thermals I can compare to in my experience. And this Nocpix Ace H50 is definitely better in all aspects. Better picture on screen, color palettes are nice etc. This scope has great detail in the image on any animal within 100 yards, I mean seeing the outline of there fur coats facial features etc. Anything from 200-300 yards that is raccoon size or larger you can easily identify what it is. I have mine setup primarily on a Ar platform in 204ruger. Also have it setup with bolt gun 22-250. Scope even does well in wet/humidity conditions. Great scope you will not be disappointed!
This is my first thermal scope. I can't compare it to others, obviously. What I can say is the scope does everything I need so far. It was easy to sight in and easy to use while hunting. Battery life was better than I expected- no battery changes required in 3-4 hours of continuous use. The images it renders are clear. It was no problem identifying deer at over 200 yards. The weight is very manageable on my rifle; it does not feel any heavier than the Nightforce scope I removed. The controls on the scope are very well placed and intuitive for me; no problems in the dark. It was a satisfying experience to take 5 hogs with it during the first 8 hours of use. Coyote hunting is my primary reason for the purchase. I think this scope will be just fine for this. My purchasing goal was to buy a mid-tier optic that I would not soon grow out of. I think this was a good choice. If your thermal scanner does not have a range finder, my suggestion is to get a scope that does have this feature. Distances are really difficult for me to judge in the scope. My experience is pretty limited but my belief is this scope will work for me forever.
