I think for the money, you probably can’t get a better thermal than this one! Been wanting a thermal for a few years now but just couldn’t make myself turn loose of the money. A Coyote getting ahold of my wife’s beagle/rat terrier cross changed my mind!! Still don’t know how she got away from it! Wanted to stay under 3000.00 , but didn’t figure would be able to get the quality of thermal I wanted for under 5k. Had my son check out what they had at outdoor legacy, and after picking out 3 different ones to choose from he called the guys at outdoor legacy and they were great!! Said for what I was looking for, Rix Storm S6 would be a great choice, and they weren’t wrong!! My son and his hunting buddy both have thermals that cost 6000.00, and after checking out the Rix they both were super impressed!! It’s super light, compact, easy to use, and the picture quality is as clear as their 6k thermals. Sight in was simple. Smoked 2 yotes the first night out. I’m not sure if the battery life is going to be as long as it says because after about three hours the first battery was running low. It comes with 2 batteries, so I think I’m going to get two more batteries and that should get me through a whole night. The battery is slightly bigger than a AA battery, so having three in my pocket won’t be an issue. Overall I’m 100 percent satisfied with the Rix Storm S6, and would definitely buy it again, and I would definitely buy from outdoor legacy! Can’t beat their customer service. They’re always happy to talk to you about the thermals they sell and help you. After ordering my thermal, it was at my door in 2 days. I highly recommend the guys at Outdoor Legacy and the Rix S6.
