Designed primarily for hunting, the Thermion Duo DXP55 has a detection range of 1965 yards. This highly versatile multispectral optic can defeat animal camouflage and fog on thermal mode and judge a prey’s trophy qualities in daylight with its full color mode. With its picture-in-picture feature, a hunter can simultaneously find an animal through dense fog or foliage with its 640x480 high-sensitivity thermal sensor while observing the area around it in full color 4k HD.

Thermal is very good. Camera for duo is decent

First off, the thermal is incredible. Just incredible. You can see so much detail, it's just plain incredible tech.

I thought I'd like the duo with camera a whole lot more, but the regular camera isn't quite as useful as I imagined it might be. Multiple times I could see something on thermal but there was no hope of seeing it on the duo camera part in daylight.

If I could do it again, I'd go just regular thermal, maybe the dxp50, or thermal+lrf.

But again, the thermal part is A+++.

SCOPE IS EVERYTHING HANS SAID IT WOULD BE! DAYTIME IS CRYSTAL CLEAR WITH THE 4K AND REMAINS SAME AS YOU ZOOM. THE NIGHT THERMAL IS AS CLEAR AS THE PULSAR HELION I HAD BOUGHT A FEW YEARS AGO FROM OUTDOOR LEGACY. IDENTITY OF ANIMALS IS UNBELIEVABLE! THIS IS THE THIRD NIGHT VISION/THERMAL SCOPE I HAVE PURCHASED FROM THESE GUYS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HANS,JASON, AND THEIR STAFF TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR NIGHT OPTICS.
