The VISTA S50R features a large-format 2560×2560 AMOLED display, providing a smooth, immersive viewing experience. An integrated 1,200-yard laser rangefinder allows users to quickly and accurately determine target distance directly within the display, while electronic image stabilization ensures a steady image during extended scanning sessions.

Handheld Awesomeness!

What a viewing pleasure. Crisp sharp detailed images at extended ranges, wide field of view allows for quick scanning. Ergonomic controls for ease of use. Laser is a nice feature to check ranges on animals and your surroundings. Handles high humidity very well.

Great thermal!

Very impressive image quality and the stabilization works pretty well also. The navigation and settings are pretty intuitive and I like that the buttons are spaced and pronounced enough to work it one handed. The LRF seems pretty good. It would be nice if you could change the menu color. The baby blue is a little hard to see with certain color palettes and brightness settings. One other thing I wish they had was an auto sleep when the unit is facing down. Other brands have it and it’s just one less thing to think about and saves battery life. It’s not hard to click the power button though.

Amazing Clarity

I was hoping a 1280 handheld would be coming out. As soon as I saw it I called Outdoor legacy. Used it this weekend in combo with the Ace S60R and it was amazing. Clarity is legit and the battery life was very good! Comes with a nice lanyard and the rangefinder was an added bonus in a small package. Nice you don’t need a separate charger for the batteries. Just usb-c. If you hunt a lot at night this is a great compliment to your high end Thermal set up.
