The NEW Rattler V2 is one of the most highly-anticipated new product releases of the year. Improving on what is already considered the best-selling thermal riflescope product family in the United States, the Rattler V2 brings many of the most sought after design improvements into one sleek new housing.
These improvements include, but are not limited to: dramatically expanded battery life offered through the unit's proprietary removable and rechargeable battery system, which will afford users up to 11 hours on a single charge (2 included), an expanded built-in reticle assortment, expanded brightness and contrast settings, shot activated recording with sound and new thermal sensors that have the highest rated sensitivity rating (sub-20 mk) on the market (640 and 384 models only). For a product family which was already boasted one of the best value propositions in the market, the NEW RattlerV2's will only expand on that reputation in 2024 and beyond.
The videos and a couple phone calls answered all of my questions regarding the purchase of an AGM rattler V2. Thank you.
The scope is great except for one issue. The issue is it takes a lot of force to turn the scope on. The power button must be pressed hard and held down for a few seconds in order for the scope to start up. If it continues I will send it back to be checked. It performs flawless except for this one issue.
This was my first thermal and so far it’s been awesome. It’s very easy to use. Set up was a tad difficult but that was my fault as I’m not the best with instruction books. Once dialed in and you get the hang of button functions it’s a piece of cake. So far I’m a big fan of AGM.
Previously owned a Pulsar RXQ30V entry model thermal scope. I found the Pulsar adequate to 125 yards for short range hog hunting. I now live in S. W. Georgia and hunt on huge peanut and corn fields and I needed a more effective thermal scope. I am extremely pleased with my new thermal and I can now easily identify hogs versus deer at 400 yards. Great features and the removable battery is a huge plus.
Great picture for a 384 resolution. Extremely easy to use and set up zeroing. Have 2 other thermals and this is the easiest one to set up. One con I have is if you set one of your zero profiles to 50 yards that profile reticle won't center. It is up and to the right. I tried different things to re-center it but could not figure it out so I just set my zero profile to 100 yards and reticle placement is fine. Maybe there is a way to recenter at a closer distance but I haven't figured it out yet. Other than that it's a great optic and perfect for what I'm using it for.
