The RattlerV2 25-256, an improved version of the Rattler TS25-256, is an awesome budget option for closer-ranged night hunts, beginners getting into thermal hunting, or to use as a buddy scope.

It features a 25mm Germanium lens, a 256x192 resolution thermal sensor, and a 3.5x base magnification with a detection range of up to 1250 yards. Out of the two 384-resolution options, this thermal scope has a higher base magnification and a slightly narrower Field of View (7.0° × 5.3° or 37 ft @ 100 yds) giving you a healthy mix of scanning coverage with improved identification capabilities at further distances. The upgrade from a 25 Hz to a 50 Hz refresh rate in the Rattler V2 25-256 ensures smoother scanning with minimal lag.

The RattlerV2 25-256 includes enhancements familiar to AGM Rattler users, with some additional game-changing improvements. An upgraded battery compartment accommodates a rechargeable battery, extending run time to 11.5 hours. Notable features include Shot Activated Recording, a simplified menu layout, and 10 reticle options with multiple zeroing profiles for various calibers and rifles. The scope also comes with a custom ADM QD Mount for easy removal and reattachment, Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity through the AGM app, a user-friendly, raised 5-button layout for easy navigation, even with gloves, and much more!

AGM Rattler TS25-256

Just got this thing sighted in. Haven’t gotten to go hunting with it yet but I have checked the cows with it. Clear as day around 100 yards and further. Super easy to set up and use. Makes my rifle look like a beast. And with 2 batteries that last 10+ hours, I don’t have to worry about anything. If you’re on a budget, that ain’t a bad way to spend $1,000. Super fast shipping and the included mount is priceless. The only reason I wouldn’t buy this one again would be because i would be getting the next model up. But for $1,000, can’t beat it. And a 5 year warranty!

Image & clarity is defiently good, zeroing process is simple and easy just like the 384 or 640 versions, I put this on a 7.62x39 buddy rifle and tested it out and had no issues poping hogs & coyotes from 50-80 yards to 100-150 yards out, granted this is a 256 is not 384 or 640 image quality it is a 256 and will deffiently get the job done if you are new and just starting out & wanting to get into the thermal hunting and on a budget the Rattler V2 25-256 is a good starting point for new users.
