The RattlerV2 25-256, an improved version of the Rattler TS25-256, is an awesome budget option for closer-ranged night hunts, beginners getting into thermal hunting, or to use as a buddy scope.

It features a 25mm Germanium lens, a 256x192 resolution thermal sensor, and a 3.5x base magnification with a detection range of up to 1250 yards. Out of the two 384-resolution options, this thermal scope has a higher base magnification and a slightly narrower Field of View (7.0° × 5.3° or 37 ft @ 100 yds) giving you a healthy mix of scanning coverage with improved identification capabilities at further distances. The upgrade from a 25 Hz to a 50 Hz refresh rate in the Rattler V2 25-256 ensures smoother scanning with minimal lag.

The RattlerV2 25-256 includes enhancements familiar to AGM Rattler users, with some additional game-changing improvements. An upgraded battery compartment accommodates a rechargeable battery, extending run time to 11.5 hours. Notable features include Shot Activated Recording, a simplified menu layout, and 10 reticle options with multiple zeroing profiles for various calibers and rifles. The scope also comes with a custom ADM QD Mount for easy removal and reattachment, Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity through the AGM app, a user-friendly, raised 5-button layout for easy navigation, even with gloves, and much more!

I’m new to thermal, did a lot of research online and the review by outdoor legacy sold me. Great reviews everywhere but hearing it from the guys that do this for their living was a huge help in my decision. Same price as Amazon but buying from them meant a connection for questions and help. As said new to thermal but this thing is awesome for the price point. As stated at 100 to 125 yards it’s great. Live in wooded New Hampshire so don’t need more then that. Picture quality is good, especially for the price point. Free shipping from outdoor legacy a plus. Rather do business with a company like them with support than Amazon. Recommend this scope highly for a sub thousand dollars, and legacy plus as the seller, as you have a connection to the seller that will personally take your calls and help if you need it.

I picked up the AGM Rattler V2 25-256 after deciding to get into thermals with a budget minded option. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the unit/image for the price point.
