Product Information

The AGM Varmint LRF is a compact thermal imaging scope developed for 24-hour operation under any weather and environmental conditions. Available in multiple configurations: 384x288(50 Hz) thermal detector or 640x512 (50 Hz) thermal detector, and 35mm or 50mm objective lens. These options allow the customer to choose the perfect unit for their needs. The 35mm lens is designed for medium-range applications, while the 50mm lens will be better suited for long-range engagements.

Equipped with a highly sensitive, 12μm thermal detector and 1024×768 OLED monitor, the AGM Varmint LRF provides a clear image under harsh environment conditions including darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, brush, camouflage, etc. The device can be used as a thermal riflescope or handheld monocular, and can be applied to scenarios such as patrolling, hunting, static observation, and more.

The built-in laser range finder of the AGM Varmint LRF is designed to determine the exact distance between the observer and the target. Measurement results are displayed on the scopes monitor. One 18650 rechargeable battery gives the device up to 4.5 hours of continuous operation time. An external 5V power bank (battery pack) can be easily connected via a USB to USB-C connector for a significant increase of operating time. The device is equipped with fast EMMC storage for on-board video recording and image capturing. An internal Wi-Fi module for live video streaming and video/image recording via application are also included.

Customer Service and AGM Varmint LRF TS-50-640 2.5x20x

I can not say enough about the customer service at Outdoor Legacy Gear. I was leaving for a trip and needed the scope next day. I received the wrong scope the next day. They called me first thing in the morning and had the correct scope sent to the town I was going to and it was waiting when I got to where we were hunting. Awesome service and taking care of the customer.
I have the AGM-35 Rattler and really like the scope and it's features. The Varmint really steps up the game though. Range finder is a game changer for coyotes. Identification range is much better with the Varmint as well. Clarity of the picture is great. Battery life is much better on the Varmint as well. About twice what the Rattler is. Love that the batteries are rechargeable and you can have extras if you buy them. The Varmint is a lot more operator friendly as well. Both great scopes and am extremely happy with the upgrade to the varmint.

First thermal scope

I watched a lot of you tube reviews on thermals. That is when I was introduced to Outdoor Legacy. I liked the vast amount of detail and first hand knowledge from Jason and Hans. There is a self targeted dry humor that made for fun viewing. Sometimes all the details, video and stats can be hard to sit thru but these guys make it tolerable. I recommend watching their videos and doing your homework.
Call them ([****]) when you are ready to pull the trigger on one of these bad boys based on a honest assessment of your own needs. They will help you zero in on the right one for you.
My AGM Varmint LRF TS50-640 2.5x-20x is the bomb. No need to go into stats. That is in videos and their web sight. I was originally thinking the TS35, but in a conversation with Jason, something he said clicked and had me going with the TS50. Happy I did.
The only problem I am having with it, is finding enough play time! Of course it is still new and there is plenty of time for something to go wrong, but I know that Outdoor Legacy and AGM are going to take good care of me if it did. I spent a little more than I had planned. I would have been happy but not as satisfied long term without the help. Thanks so much!
