Great bulb so far

I have a 66lrx and when I bought it last summer I got the 850nm bulb. It was as bright as I could ask for but the red glow was bright. I noticed the coons were getting wise by the end of summer. Bought this bulb and tried it out only twice so far. I can still see the fence row like daylight at 400 yds no moon but there is snow on the ground now. I really only need 250 yds out of it with no snow for coons so I'm hoping it does that. There is ZERO red light emitted from it. That is awesome. Hopefully back to sniping coons in no time here.

TOO MUCH IR LIGHT!

Like many night hunters I thing anything bigger is better such as the Coyote Cannon. My average shot is 100 to 200 yards. 300 yards max. Yep, too much light. Purchased the LRX66 to step down and reduce rifle weight. Yep, too much light. Back to Outdoor Legacy Gear for the LRX50. I actually also purchased the 940NM LED bulb for this latest IR even though it reduces the lights effective range. Out to 300 yards the LRX50 is more than enough light. I did not test it further. I love the light. Weight is not and issue and clarity is great. No doubt if you install the 850NM bulb you will have a killer light well beyond 300 yards. I shot a coon in the snoot at 175 yards when testing the LRX50. It has made me a better night hunter.

Works As Expected

Wanted to try the 940 led because of the way raccoons and deer were immediately throwing their heads up when the light from the 850 hit them and this was at 90 to 140 yds. So far they don't even acknowledge this led being on. That said, it is easy to see the Wraith is more attuned to the 850 illuminator vs the 940 illuminator but this light easily gets the job done inside 250 yds.

Love it no problem seeing out to 300-400 yards and identifying my target
