All I can say is this thing is fun… being able to focus it is a huge plus but I will say the identification isn’t really that great when zooming. Don’t get it wrong, it has great ID range, just personally I don’t zoom in often with it due to it getting pixally. I have downloaded the app and everything works as advertised and my boys love hunting with me and when not shooting they can spot.
If you’re on the fence just get one, it’s way better using your weapon mounted thermal all the time.
I also have buddies who have this unit or the 19 and they use IR… basically spot with this and make a stalk.
